ONE TEAM
Because every Tusting bag is designed and made in our own workshop here in Buckinghamshire, the people who guide you in your choices to create your piece and the people who actually make it, are never very far apart. That gives us rather more freedom than most, and means we can do a lot in a unusually short timeframe.
CUSTOM LEATHERS & FITTINGS
Start with one of our existing designs and make it distinctly yours. Choose the leather, the colour, the lining and the fittings. Change the details. Add a monogram, a date, a message or even your own handwriting. Sometimes, even ask us to delve into the Tusting archive and revive something we haven't made for years.
CREATION
Then the making begins – leather is selected and inspected, individual pattern pieces are cut and prepared, edges finished, and the many separate pieces gradually stitched and assembled by the hands of our workshop team.
TAKING SHAPE
What begins as a collection of leather pieces, fittings, thread and ideas slowly becomes a single, unique bag, made here, especially for its new owner.
