A Special Bespoke Order for The Prince of Wales

 

One of our favourite things is making bespoke versions of our bags for discerning customers. When we were asked to make one as a gift for Prince Charles, Prince of Wales, well, you can imagine, we were just a little excited! The occasion was his visit to the heritage mill of one of our favourite suppliers – Abraham Moon & Sons. Our new Tyringham Collection features their beautiful tweeds and they asked us to make up one of our classic Fisherman Bags (a bespoke variation of the Clipper Bag) in their new Commonwealth tweed. Of course, we said yes!

The gorgeous tweed fabric was bonded to a firming backing fabric and then contruction began:
